We never stop looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact. As new methods & technologies emerge we are committed to implementing these products & processes to reduce our carbon footprint.
Below is a list of initiatives we've introduced to reduce our environmental impact.
RECYCLABLE &
CO2 OF SETTING
PACKAGING
We've moved all our standard 250g 500g 1kg & mail out bags over to fully Recyclable & CO2 Neutral
SHIPPING
We ship exclusively with Royal Mail who have the lowest carbon footprint per parcel delivery in the UK. We deliver locally within 5 miles of the roastery reducing carbon delivery miles still further
GREEN COFFEE
We work with green bean Importers, Exporters, Farmers & Collectives who have a well developed Environmental strategy. More information can be found on each product page about what work is carried out on the ground at the coffees origin.
COFFEE SHOP
&
ROASTERY
We use fully compostable paper cups & lids in our coffee shop & incentivise the use of reusable cups for drinks & containers for beans. All our waste is sorted & recycled & we work with a green energy provider
DIRECT SUPPORT
We directly support environment projects like 'Project Waterfall' every year through donations & fund raising activities
